On 12-16 September, 2020, the Training Coordinator welcomed all ten ESRs to the I-DireCT summer school on ‘Innovative Immunotherapeutic Design’ at the UMCG premises in Groningen, Netherlands. During this summer school, the ESRs had to design their own novel immunotherapeutic and present their ideas based on various workshops they attended, like “gene cloning”, “grant writing” and “talk like TED”. The winners of the competition were Levi (UMCG), Lisa (UMCG), Vinicio (KM) and Yuzhu (UMCG), congratulations! It was great to be together again!
